Over the course of my life and career, I've been fortunate to learn from many curious minds, inspiring leaders, and relentless makers. I began my career as a mountain guide in Alaska and an environmental consultant in Australia. After arriving in California, I started a couple wine businesses with a friend and did a nine year tour at Google and YouTube. Now, I'm working on rethinking tools for making at
. In my spare time, I occasionally invest in and advise companies.
Outside of work, I spend my time with my wife and three kids. On full days, you can find me building with kids, surfing, exploring Northern California on a bike, playing some tennis or exploring other creative pursuits.
